Day 01
Marrakech to Dades Gorges
Depart from Marrakech in the morning and head southeast towards the High Atlas Mountains. Drive through the breathtaking Tizi n'Tichka Pass, stopping at panoramic viewpoints along the way for photos. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a historic ksar (fortified village) that has been featured in numerous films. Continue your journey towards the Dades Gorges, passing through the Valley of the Roses and the fascinating rock formations of the Dades Valley. Arrive at your accommodation in the Dades Gorges, where you'll spend the night and enjoy dinner.
Day 02
Dades Gorges to Merzouga
After breakfast, depart for Merzouga, known for its spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Along the way, visit the Todra Gorges, towering limestone cliffs that offer incredible photo opportunities. Continue your drive through the desert landscape, passing through small Berber villages and scenic oases. Upon arrival in Merzouga, meet your camel caravan and embark on a camel trek into the desert. Experience the magic of the Sahara as you ride your camel over the golden sand dunes to your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars and spend the night in a comfortable desert camp.
Day 03
Merzouga to Marrakech
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, a truly magical experience. After breakfast at the camp, ride your camel back to Merzouga village. Depart from Merzouga and begin your journey back to Marrakech, retracing your steps through the stunning landscapes of southern Morocco. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant along the way. Arrive back in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your unforgettable 3-day desert adventure comes to an end.
